🌱The Opportunity

We are seeking passionate, proactive, and visionary interns and fellows to join YORA’s 2026 Cohort.
This is a 10-month immersive, high-growth experience where you’ll gain real-world exposure across event management, marketing, partnerships, digital media, policy engagement, and innovation ecosystems.

You’ll be part of the core team executing the YORA Summit & Expo 2026 (October) — Africa’s-next biggest youth and innovation gathering — with full hands-on experience from planning  to execution (January – October).

Shape narratives, amplify voices, contribute to the success of an impactful event. Your role transcends promotions, leaving a lasting mark on Africa’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Event Strategy & Operations

Support end-to-end planning for YORA Summit & Expo 2026 (Nairobi + Kilifi) Coordinate logistics, schedules, and partner activations Assist in masterclasses, panel sessions, and exhibition design

Marketing, PR & Communications

Manage social media campaigns, storytelling, and press releases Support influencer engagement and content creation Contribute to YORA’s global digital presence and newsletters

Sponsorships & Partnerships

Research, reach out, and follow up with sponsors, investors, and partners Support proposal development and partner relationship management Assist in corporate communications and proposal writing

Website Tech & Innovation:

Assist in digital product management (Deal Room, YORA Hub, AbanaConnect) Support event platform setup, analytics, and innovation showcases Contribute to data collection, dashboards, and platform testing

Creative & Media Production

Work with YORA Media to produce short documentaries, podcasts, and recaps Support photography, design, and post-production editing Contribute creative input for campaigns and summit visuals

Research & Policy

Support policy documentation, reports, and program evaluation Conduct background research on focus industries (Tech, Creative, Climate, etc.) Assist in preparing reports for YORA’s partners and sponsors

Administration & Coordination

Support internal communications, scheduling, and document management Assist with onboarding volunteers, fellows, and speaker relations Maintain records for program logistics and event databases
