4. Ticket Purchases

All ticket purchases for YORA Summit and AUS are subject to availability. Prices for tickets are specified on our website and are subject to change without notice. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to our ticket refund policy as outlined below.

5. Ticket Refund Policy

• Cancellation Before 3 Months: If you cancel your ticket more than 3 months before the event, a 25% cancellation fee will be applied. The remaining 75% of the ticket price will be refunded.
• Cancellation 2 Months Before the Event: If you cancel your ticket between 2 and 3 months before the event, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied. The remaining 50% of the ticket price will be refunded.
• Cancellation 30 Days or Less Before the Event: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 30 days or less before the event.

6. Event Changes and Cancellations

We reserve the right to make changes to the event program, speakers, or venue at any time. If the event is postponed or cancelled, you will be notified as soon as possible. In the event of a cancellation, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket to a future event.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YORA Summit & Africa Unicorn Summit (AUS) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use of or inability to use our website; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YORA Summit & Africa Unicorn Summit (AUS), its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from your use of and access to the website, or from your violation of these Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Nairobi.
